SCAPE has developed an ecosystem of tools and services to facilitate the automated production of Preservation Plans, monitoring of knowledge which impacts these plans, and the scalable execution of these plans’ workflows on large content collections. This ecosystem presents a modular infrastructure divided across five main entities, Automated Watch, Automated Planning, Component Management, the Digital Object Repository and the Execution Platform, and is supported by additional SCAPE developed tools and services. Interactions between these entities is by way of SCAPE defined interfaces, enabling flexibility in entity implementation and facilitating institutions wishing to amalgamate their existing infrastructure with SCAPE technologies. This report describes the architecture of this ecosystem.
